Garden City High School has advanced to the second round of MSG Varsity’s, The Challenge, and took on Valley Stream North on Sunday, March 10. Garden City was joined by 15 other Nassau County schools as they progressed through the Regional Rounds in trying to qualify for the Tri-State Championship Playoffs. Host Jared Cotter, of MSG Varsity’s Talent Show, was moderator. The Challenge includes 192 high schools from the entire tri-state area, with Long Island being represented by 32 high schools from Nassau County and 32 high schools from Suffolk County. A new match-up can been seen every Sunday through Friday at 6:30 pm, on MSG Varsity, Cablevision’s Optimum Channel 14.
