Preschool offers opportunities for two-year-olds

If you have a little one in your life, Resurrection Preschool offers opportunities for the Fall 2014 School year. Held at Resurrection Lutheran Church, two programs are available for children who are two years of age.

Mommy & Me is a classroom setting for children who will be two years of age by December 2014, accompanied by a special adult. The program takes place on Wednesdays and the session is 90 minutes long.  Children participate in making crafts, singing, dancing, and socializing. It is a wonderful opportunity to spend quality one-on-one, instructive time with your child.

Time for Twos is a separation program for children who are two by September 2014. The 90-minute class meets two times a week. Two teachers lead the classes, with class size about eight children. This program has multiple sessions, where the children enjoy their time creating art projects, as well as improving social skills through music, dance and supervised playtime. For more information please contact the director of Mommy & Me, Karen Schoenfeld at 516-746-4426, or the director of the preschool, Christine Turner at 516-741-6447.

Lutheran Preschool has been a part of Garden City for more than 50 years. The school has programs for children ages 2-5, including a transitional kindergarten. Please contact Christine Turner for all of your preschool needs.
