The rear bumper to a vehicle parked in the Fair Court Parking Field was found damaged.

Garden City detectives arrested a 36-year-old Long Beach female for leaving the scene of an auto accident on July 20, which occurred on Seventh Street.

Garden City detectives arrested an 18-year-old Stewart Manor male for a road rage incident that occurred in parking field No. 7N on Aug. 5. The subject threatened another driver with a baseball bat and scratched the side of the victim’s car with a key. He was charged with menacing, criminal mischief and possession of a weapon.

Detectives arrested a 17-year-old Hempstead male for the theft of a 2010 Hyundai from the Hempstead Ford parking lot on July 26.

Aug. 11

Officers investigated an attempted burglary at the Nissan Service Center on Main Street. A garage door glass panel was found damaged. There was no apparent entry into the building.

Officers investigated a report of a vehicle being scratched while parked in the driveway of a Whitehall Boulevard residence.

Police report that $350 was stolen from a Franklin Avenue business lockerroom.

A windshield to a delivery van was found damaged in parking field No. 7S.

Aug. 12

A parked vehicle was entered on Iris Lane. There is no reported loss at this time.

Aug. 13

Officers investigated an identity theft where unauthorized transactions were made out of state using a resident’s credit card information.

Aug. 14

A large tree fell onto the roadway on Washington Avenue at Mulberry Avenue, damaging a street light and blocking lanes of traffic.

Two occupants in an auto traveling south on New Hyde Park Road state a male subject threw a metal table at their vehicle, causing damage to the windshield.

The passenger side mirror of a vehicle parked at a Whitehall Boulevard Road residence was found broken.

Aug. 15

Spray paint was found on a Nassau County vehicle which was parked in Nassau County lot No. 3.

Aug. 16

A resident reports multiple thefts from a storage locker in a Hilton Avenue Apartment complex.

Officers responded to Second Street for a report of a vehicle leaving the scene after striking and damaging a parked vehicle.
